Do I need to install CAD software?
No. DeckDraft runs in your browser, with deck-specific layout and construction controls.
Can different team members use it for different tasks?
Yes. Team members can open shared company jobs for presentations, material planning, revisions, and drawings. Additional users are $50 per month each.
Can I use the plans for a permit application?
DeckDraft produces framing, foundation, decking, elevation, and detail sheets. Check the samples against your local submission requirements. A project may still need a survey, additional documents, or engineering.
Can I inspect the plans before signing up?
Yes. Browse three sample projects and download their PDFs. The sets include plans, elevations, material reports, and construction details. The covered-deck example also includes a roof plan.
What if I need help with my construction methods?
Contact Brad directly about your construction system or drawing requirements. He can explain the current tools and what is still being developed.
