Terms of Use and Drafting Disclaimer
Effective date: February 18, 2026
1. Drafting Tool Only
DeckDraft is a drafting and estimating application. It is not a licensed engineering or architectural service. Drawings, takeoffs, and warnings are informational and may not include all project-specific structural, geotechnical, or jurisdictional requirements.
2. User Responsibility for Compliance
You are solely responsible for verifying your design against all applicable local, state, and national codes, permit rules, zoning requirements, HOA restrictions, manufacturer instructions, and site conditions before construction.
You must obtain all required permits and inspections, and where required by law, have the project reviewed and approved by a licensed engineer or other qualified professional.
3. Safety and Construction Risk
Construction decisions involve life-safety risk. Do not rely on DeckDraft output as your only basis for structural, load, attachment, footing, guard, stair, or connection decisions. Field conditions and material limitations must be verified independently.
4. Beta Features and Accuracy
Some features are in beta and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You agree to independently validate all dimensions, quantities, and connection details before purchasing materials or beginning construction.
